Detectives from the PCSO Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) and Tactical Drug Unit (TDU) arrested multiple suspects on Thursday, May 28, 2026, following an undercover operation targeting suspected narcotics areas throughout Polk County.
The investigation began on April 30, 2026, and focused on several locations across the county, including Haines City, Lake Wales, Davenport, Lakeland, Auburndale, and Winter Haven.
Of the seven suspects identified, five have been arrested and two currently have warrants out for their arrest. Of the five arrested, three are being charged with sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a church and two are charged with sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church.
One suspect, Donovan Roserie, was on probation for burglary and grand theft and was wearing an ankle monitor at the time he sold narcotics to an undercover detective. A photo of Donovan wearing the ankle monitor at the time of his arrested is attached. Donovan is a convicted felon. Detectives found a long gun, ammunition, and marijuana packaged for sale in his apartment.
“Drug dealers who think they can hide in neighborhoods and sell poison in our community are making very bad decisions. Our detectives will find you, we will arrest you, and we will hold you accountable. If you’re on probation, wearing an ankle monitor, and still committing crimes, you’re proving exactly why you need to be behind bars.” – Grady Judd, Sheriff.
