On October 11th, at about 5:00 p.m., a woman and her small child shopped at Green's Market on Avenue G in Winter Haven. 

While mom was selecting meats, the child dropped mom's purse on the floor, and mom was unaware. As she continued through the store, her purse was left behind.

A short time later, a man noticed the purse on the floor, and picked it up. In security video, the man appears to remove money from the purse. That man turned the purse over to store employees, and it contained no money.

Our victim said there was a good bit of money that's missing. Our detective would now like to speak to that man.
